The second Engineering Complexity workshop took place at Beckmannshof, Bochum, bringing together researchers from RUB and TU Dortmund to explore new interdisciplinary collaborations and joint research proposals. The group aims to pursue bold, potentially transformative collaborative research that advances our fundamental understanding of nonlinear, feedback-driven and path-dependent processes and, in turn, develops new ways to predict, guide, and ultimately program emergent dynamics to achieve qualitatively new outcomes.
The participants warmly welcome new researchers from across our campuses and ideas from diverse disciplines that resonate with the scientific vision of Engineering Complexity, with scientific excellence as the main criterion.
